Time is flying by way too fast! Thank you for all of the pictures that you forwarded to me they're wonderful! I just wanted to tell you guys that I'm so thankful for your help and service and that you are the best missionary couple in the whole world! I learned a lot from you both and your examples through service and humility. I really look up to your guys!

I hope that you are still enjoying the mission (I know that you are) I pray and hope that you are blessed with the Spirit and that all is well with you and your families.

January 6th was the Day of the Kings

Hi family!  January 6th is the day the Three Wiseman visited baby Jesus.  This past week the people here really celebrated.  The stores/billboards featured toys.  There was a electric night parade down the street, and lots of fireworks.  Elder Arana said for the Latin people they have a big dinner on Christmas, and they receive their gifts on the dia de reyna.  (Day of the Kings-if I spelled it right.)

Anyway,  just think another gift day that we can enjoy!!:)  So, WE RENEWED THE CHURCH MAGAZINES FOR YOU ALL!!

Anyway, lots of fun!!

I only remember 1/2 of what I should! dog gone it!

Hi Kids, wonderful in laws! and grandkids!  I only have 1/2 a brain.  Ashley fell and injured her shoulder and arm very badly and Kelland lost his special uncle!  Some of the family are dealing with blood sugars, really bad colds and stomach flu, and other heartaches!  Rex C. Reeve of the Seventy once said, "Everyone is dealing with almost more than they can handle!--to help and treat others kindly, because we don't know what they are dealing with!"  Sorry I don't do very well, but we love you and are praying for you!!

Hi Family!

Hi you wonderful kids and kids in law! and grandkids!

      We pray for each of you and every day.  We hope you'll pray for each also.  We are so sorry, Judith had surgery on her hand and was in a cast for 2 weeks.  Cameron is having surgery for his kidneys in February.  Little Hyrum has a tumor in his femur and will go to specialists in February. Annette and Joshua have been really sick.  Amy is having a baby in April.  Dad's not well right now.  We are so sorry!  Each of you have suffered with these things.  We hope you each will be blessed and well soon!  With prayers and blessings we can be healed if it's the will of our Heavenly Father.  His will is the plan he has for us.  He wants only what is good for us--our best good!  So if we don't get what we want, he has something better.  (A dumb story---I wanted Santa to bring me a little radio one year, it clipped onto something metal and had a wire that fit into your ear.  He didn't bring it and I was so disappointed!  Instead he brought me a little transistor radio that fit in the palm of my hand.  It was pretty blue and gave me great reception, and I could take it anywhere.  I discovered that it was far better than what I had asked for.)

     We love each of you so much!!!  We love it here so much!  Thank you for supporting us and sacrificing for us!

Mom & Dad   22 missionaries are coming this week and 12 going home--two from our office.  The five or maybe 6 if the new AP arrives are coming to dinner tomorrow.  It's like a piece of us leaves with each one of them.  So sad.  But how they have each blessed our lives!  Good thing you kids (and I mean you all) are not leaving ever!!!:)

Also, CONGRATULATIONS JAKE GOT A NEW JOB!! more money & more responsibility!

Hi David & Cindy!  We opened your beautiful card!  Wow your family looks great!  I count 41 happy wonderful looking family members!  Thanks for thinking of us!  And we watched your DVD Christmas Oranges on Christmas Eve.  It was very special!  Thanks so much! 

     How was your holiday?  How is all your family?  I talked to Rachel and Peter, and Liz on the phone when Ellen had her party, then later saw Jared and Anna and Steven and Andra when Jeane got there and turned on her computer.  Families are so fun!  We're glad were in the family with you!
